About this plant
Ficus benjamina forms a true small tree: supple trunk, drooping branches and thousands of small glossy leaves, green or variegated depending on the variety. It is the ficus of lobbies and winter gardens, the one that gives the impression of a tree that has always been there.
It likes bright light and a permanent spot; a move or a draught costs it a few leaves, which it quickly replaces. In Morocco it also thrives outdoors, potted on a terrace or as a clipped hedge in coastal gardens.
A robust indoor tree that can be pruned and shaped at will.
