About this plant

The 'Robusta' rubber plant wins people over with its large, deep green oval leaves whose new growth unrolls from a reddish sheath. Its dense, glossy foliage reflects light and gives any room a crisp look.

It is one of the most tolerant ficus: it accepts medium light, forgives a missed watering and asks only for regular dusting of the leaves.

Perfect for starting out with a plant of real size.

Caring for your plant

  • Watering

    Let the soil dry halfway down the pot between waterings, roughly every ten to fourteen days.

    Medium to bright indirect light. It accepts a slightly dimmer corner without losing its shape.

    A liquid organic feed every six weeks from March to September.

  • Temperature

    From 15 to 30 °C; avoid sudden temperature changes and draughts.
