About this plant

The lemon tree offers everything one wants from a terrace tree: dense, glossy foliage, white blossom with a delicate scent, then fruit that ripens slowly in the sun. In the Moroccan climate it crops in several flushes and stays decorative in every season.

We offer it as a grafted standard, ready to fruit, for a large terracotta pot or a sheltered bed. Placed near the kitchen or a terrace table, it becomes a daily presence.

It values consistency: water without excess, a soil that breathes and a citrus-specific feed.

Care

Caring for your plant

  • Watering

Water once the top few centimetres of soil are dry, two to three times a week in summer, never leaving water standing in the saucer.

  • Light

Full sun, at least six hours a day. A spot sheltered from strong wind protects the blossom.

  • Feeding

Citrus feed from March to October, every three weeks. Yellowing leaves often signal an iron shortage.

  • Temperature

Ideal between 15 and 35 °C. Frost below −2 °C is a risk: move or fleece potted trees on cold inland nights.

  • Lemons within reach several times a year
  • Scented blossom that perfumes the terrace
  • Glossy foliage that looks good twelve months a year
