Bright bohemian bedroom with patterned cushions, a Ficus lyrata and potted plants by the window

The specimen

About this plant

Ficus lyrata carries thick, quilted leaves with pale veins that catch the light like few other plants. As a single stem or branched into a small tree, it brings elegant verticality to a living room or office.

It asks for a permanent spot: good indirect light, no draughts, regular but measured watering. Once settled, it stays loyal for decades.

Our plants are acclimatised in a bright greenhouse to limit stress on arrival.
