About this plant
Native to Lord Howe Island, the Kentia has been grown for drawing rooms and lobbies since the nineteenth century. Its deep green fronds fall in regular arcs on slender stems that let light through.
It is also one of the most tolerant indoor palms: it accepts medium light, dry air and spaced-out watering. Its slow growth makes it a lasting investment.
On the Moroccan coast it also lives outdoors in shade, in a patio or under a pergola.
