About this plant
The Areca grows as a clump of slender golden stems, each carrying finely cut fronds that quiver at the slightest breath of air. Its airy volume softens the lines of a contemporary interior without crowding it.
In Morocco it thrives in bright interiors and, on the coast, in sheltered outdoor spots: patios, covered terraces, hotel courtyards. It likes ambient humidity and steady summer watering.
A 150 to 200 cm specimen creates a setting on its own.

Caring for your plant
Watering
Keep the soil slightly moist: water as soon as the surface dries, twice a week in summer, once in winter.

Bright filtered light; direct midday sun scorches the fronds.
Feeding

From 16 to 32 °C; tolerates short heat peaks if humidity is maintained. Not below 10 °C.
