The concept

The guiding idea

Re-greening a mineral courtyard: areca and kentia palms in the lobby, strelitzia and hibiscus on the terrace, cycads at the pool edge.

One hundred and twenty specimens delivered in three waves coordinated with the seasonal closure. Indoors: palms in matte black planters with water reservoirs, fortnightly maintenance. Outdoors: salt-spray tolerant species, automated irrigation and a two-year replacement plan.
